look upon a land treacherous, carpeted in a serene layer of ash. flame ravages the ramparts, and beyond lingers an intimidating line of equine bodies. cynical jeers posses their charcoal lips; some have no lips, merely a dusty plain of porcelain bone held aloft by sinewy necks. the terror they inspire has cast all but this select lot from the land, and now they are left to rule it.
the terrain is mostly flat, consisting largely of vast grasslands and barren plains. there are curious rock formations and few yawning gorges. it is tropical, but not as humid as south america, though quite as hot.
