north america « the land is marginally flat, and cooler by an immense degree than its sister to the south. on the outskirts, the coastline consists of either immense sandy arenas, or sheer cliff faces riddled with perilous caves and deep cravasses. the sun falls at night to straddle the sea, and the waters extend to drown the horizon. the remainder of the continent is interspersed with vast plains, dark timberlands, lurid swamps, arid deserts, rough-hewn mountain stretches and open grasslands. |

south america « being immensely closer to the equator than its nothern counterpart, south america is considered tropical due largely to its intense heat. volcanos are prominent, and rainforest is much more common. it is ill-suited for the heavier drafts. tropical storms are also common. |

africa « the terrain is mostly flat, consisting largely of vast grasslands and barren plains. there are curious rock formations and few yawning gorges. it is tropical, but not as humid as south america, though quite as hot. |

europe « most of the continent is carpeted in lush forestry and stretches of grassy plain, though interrupted along the coastline by harsh cliffs. there are occasional mountains chains, but not an incredible amount. |

australia « the landscape in australia is similar to africa in that it has vast plains interspersed with odd formations of rock, and much desertous area. the heat is in some circumstances overwhelming, and there are varied species of poisonous animals, spiders, etc. inhabiting the continent. |

antarctica « vast tundras span from coastline to coastline, the night eclipsing the sun for three months out of every year. various mountain ranges dot the geography, but the majority of the continent consists of vast expanses of snowy plain. |

philippines « the origin of the islands can be accredited to underwater volcanos, and many are strewn about the various islands. narrow, swift-running streams are common; the coastline consists of narrow beaches and lowlands. |

madagascar « narrow bands of lowland stripe the island, as well as steep bluffs and ravines. massive granite outcrops also intersperse. there are a few extinct volcanos, and largely eroded hillocks. there are a wide range of marshes as well. |

greenland « greenland, similar to antarctica, is an enormous section of ice, interspersed with small valleys and tundras. its main inhabitants are polar bears, being that there is nothing really of interest or use. |

bahamas « this island chain is marginally tropical, with towering forest of palm and clear coastal waters. it is pleasant, but not overly useful. |

cuba « cuba is very similar to its northern sister, the bahamas, in that it is mostly tropical. the two are quite close in perameter, making travel between the two somewhat simple. it is rather bigger and longer, however, and includes a few small volcanos. |

new zealand « mainly consisting of woodland and a few mountainous regions, new zealand also hosts a volcanic region. there are regular earthquakes, though nothing immense. |
